I finally turned 18, yay for responsibilities and no censorship on websites. I finally can do whatever the heck I want when I want. Anyways, I got a lot of awesome gifts from my family and Katie, I can't believe that I got everything I truly desired this year!

Seriously, I am set for a long time, this microphone is still new, and as such I still have to get used to it and how it compresses sound, but I will learn to project my voice a lot better without the nagging popping sounds now. I started playing Dissidia, which beats the crap out of the demo, I have yet to try the other 2 games though. >:

Making the Headline News

I plan to go to Saboten at the end of October. The REALLY fun part is having Halloween on one of the days of the con, so you can bet I will be doing something I love doing on Halloween, only Rideru and Griff know what that is, you can message me about it if you want a spoiler. Anyway, I can still fit into my old Emil Castangier cosplay, so you can also expect to see that on one of the days. Although, I do plan to draw a lot more than I normally do at conventions, especially on Halloween, because my feet will be epically killing me on that night. Be sure to see me on the days of the convention, if you don't know who I am by now, then start paying attention this year, I have been going since 2006. XD

The Final News
Started my 3rd semester of 3D Animation, which not only has made me able to whip out a character model in 2 hours and 30 minutes, but also has helped and is still helping me learn a lot about drawing. I have improved a lot, and I will keep improving as long as I keep trying new things. Oh-ho if you all only knew how much I drew, I don't upload 97% of what I draw these days.

Making the Headline News

Okay, so I am guessing several of you have been wondering where I have been and what happened to my animation. Well, my computer Operating System gave out near the start of May, and regardless of the fact I have a backup, the reason my system crashed after 2 additional formats was because of my anti-virus. The BAD part is that the anti-virus appears to be the only thing that can access the back up as a result of it's strange compression. So I have no files, new or old, that I can work on the animation with ; no voice files, no flash files, nothing.

The good part about this is that I have been pondering about how to continue Tales of Oblivion. Yes, the old project I started and put aside 8 months ago. I am trying to get my shit together and get music, voice, script and character designs done. I have downloaded several of my old programs along with 2 new members to the gang, Maya 2009 and Fruity Loops 7. In addition, I have also been watching anime like Bleach in order to get facial expressions, perspective action and movements down, all I can say is...if everything goes right, I can make an epic completed flash on my first try, note the word completed, not half done and uncolored like Animal Crossing. Here is the work list for what I have:

Maya 2009 ---- Backgrounds, Camera Movements, Character Skeleton motions, Rigged Lighting for easy coloring.

Fruity Loops 7 ---- Custom Background Music ; not gonna be the best, but I should be able to set the mood.

Adobe Flash ---- Animation of Characters, coloring, video conversion

Adobe Audition CS3 ---- Kaiser's Voice, Generic Young Male character Voices

Wordpad ---- Script work, note taking

PaintTool Sai/Sketchbook and Pencil ---- Character Concepts, Storyboarding


Other News

I have finished my first year of 3D animation at my Technical High School, which shall remain nameless...I have also finished my 3rd Year as an artist, though I constantly think I have been drawing for 4.

I barely got any work done tonight on the flash!

I started making finished versions of what I already have, got 5 seconds in, and got really REALLY distracted! Although, you will be happy to know that the "finished" version of this first feature length flash is much cleaner and...HAS COLORS AND ANIMATIONS!

Due to next weeks competition I am under a lot of stress, so from now until Wednesday, I may or may not get much work done. I drew something for on Wednesday and Thursday night, but as the competition gets closer, I seem to be getting much much irritable in person. So until then I probably won't be working much on it. That and the fact that making the finished version is SIGNIFICANTLY more difficult than the sketches I have now, I cannot exaggerate how much more time consuming it will be, I will try to have it done by May, but no promises. ; __ ;
